So the light pollution was awful (the individual subs were almost completely red), and I am on an alt-az mount still so am limited to about 30s, but I was pleased with how it turned out considering .... I think I posted one a few weeks ago in a different part of the forum, I got an additional 20 min of data on a fairly good seeing night so this one has a bit better detail

taken with Nikon D40, prime focus with CPC 800, f/6.3 focal reducer
85 x 30s subs, stacked in Nebulosity, Processed in Photoshop CS2

That looks quite good!! You need to get a nice GEM to go along with your imaging talent. Get some longer lights.

Well probably wont be getting a GEM - but a wedge is on the short list for sure.
