Hi to all,
it is not a really observing activity, although the result of this work could be a new asteroid discovery!
I mentioned SkyMorph archive in other post, but no one replied to it so perhaps most of you have not heard about this.
You need only internet connection, some software packages and lot of time + patience. I write a guide "how to" at www.skaw.sk/enhuntpage.htm
As it works for me, it should also for you. It is best for long winter and cloudy nights, but until then you could learn the ropes ...

There is no reply to this post ... So I have to make a following conclutions:
1. you looked at my "tutorial" and it seemed too complicated or
2. you are not interesting in astrometry work at all or
3. you just don´t want to discover new asteroid by your own?
I thought every astronomer´s dream (amateur´s too) is to discover something new on the sky ...

Looks cool to me, although i haven't had the time to look too far into it because i'm very busy lately. I was planning on looking at 2009TJ today since it was a near-earth asteroid, but it was cloudy near my house 
I'll read more later! Thanks for the great post!

Hi all!
I reached last week my 100th discovery 
Nobody wants to try it too?
Maybe you found my guide very complicated... I must admit that pictures I used in tutorial could be a little bit confusing - they are only for illustration in the first part of guide! You can follow my hunting process step by step from image of MPCReport for krt214 in the middle of the article. I assume it would be useful to illustrate the whole discovery process right from the start. So I try to update it according to my next discovery asap.
