Hi
You have four mount options stored in the SkyCommander. I used the same unit with a DM6, a G11, and an AP600 mount.

I have been using the Half Hitch Mark III with built in encoders and an Argo Navis computer for the last four months. Initial cost was high but thats it no extras needed. I Have an SV 102 ED refractor mounted on it. It is absolutely accurate and in use here in Bahrain with light polluted and dsuty skies I can find whatever is up there easily. It is perfectly engineered no back lash and once balanced is the perfct push to alt azgrab and go set up. Like all mounts it neeeds a good tripod and fits well with the heavier manfrotto/bogen photographer's tripods making it very portable.

You would love it if you are a visual observer.

Regards,

Nick.
