Can you use Ninoxmfor the Moon ?

Looks good Freddy, you could do it with Ninox
but then you should get rid of the cut= statements.

If I were you, I would try to stack with Avistack,
especially good for the moon!!

A bit dark to my taste, but very nice detail. Give ninox a try (and dont forget to post to show the difference :P)

Indeed the image was a bit too dark, did some Gamma adjusting...

Why would you want to use ninox for moon images? Is it for quality sorting? Otherwise I would think that it would be a needless step before aligning and stacking in registax...

I don't believe Wesley advises ninox for non-planetary registration, since its looking for a spherical object to center. For the moon, Registax or AviStack are the recommended packages. I think Iris also will work well.

I guess that Ninox is indeed not the right thing to do, but what is an average stack for a good Lunar Image ?
200 ? 500 ? or more ??
