Craig, but we still donīt know if there would be discounts I am also intersted in that book!
WOBentley my recomendation is for a combo of books for binocular watching:
- Objects in Heaven - great to know what to look for in each constellation, doubles, clusters, galaxies guiding you to the most interesting objects stressing <= mag 7.
- Pocket Sky Atlas - Great for binoculars and needed to provide you precission maps for the first book.
Those two are not to be regarded as books but as observation tools and are not at all expensive.

Dave, I would highly recommend Phil Harrington's "Star Watch." It features 125 must-see objects, gives very good descriptions of them, and includes excellent finder charts to locate each object described. Have fun, Paul
