Saturn V to Ares V
      #3421624 - 10/31/09 10:33 AM

Here's a cool comparison of our vehicles from Apollo to Constellation.

The Ares I test launch really has me pumped up about the space program. NASA's budget is really just a drop in the bucket and it's one of the few things that I am happy to be taxed for.

Sort of a bummer though that the first test flight won't be until 2018 or probably after.

Makes me wonder if they should have simply gone with an Ares III and been done with it rather than completing 1/2 the project and getting the whole kabootle possibly axed right in the middle.

Let's hope that the competition from other countries' space programs keep us on track.
