M27 before it's gone for the season. new
      #3420617 - 10/30/09 05:48 PM Attachment (20 downloads)

I realize people are already shooting winter nebula like M42 and M1, but this past summer was awfull, with the few clear nights occuring at full moon or so it seemed. I thought I'd try M27 now that I'm autoguiding and using PS CS4. This was taken under a first quarter moon, and without using my CLS filter. This is a 50% crop, taken with my AT 127EDT. Comments and critiques welcome!

Thanks Brent, Erik, dgpilot. After levels and curves on the whole image, I boosted the red just a touch on the nebula as my 40D is still unmodded.
