If I could ever get some really good seeing, I'd be a happy camper. Even with the lousy seeing though, I'm coming up with some decent examples. Had to get a Halloween Mars shot!

Thats a great image of Mars! Looks like the n pole is really pointing at us more and more so it appears the npc is starting to break thru. Wishing you some great seeing between these blasted cold fronts!

Thats my first image of this appariation where I'm sure I'm seeing the NPC. I like how those thin clouds are lingering to the south of it. Notice they don't show up in red at all, but the NPC shows up well in red. Seeing tomorrow morning is suppose to be better. I need to get up and get some more images, but man it was cold. 30 degrees. The CPC's handcontrol doesn't like cold weather.

I don't know much more than what you said about the NPH v NPC and for sure I see it in red. How do you get cold weather and clear skies? We got 75+ for the day and trick or treating but THIS is coming:

NOOOO!!! NO MORE CLOUDS, NO MORE RAIN!!!

Well, according to the CSC, my skies will be transparent when I go to image Mars in the morning. No clouds or rain forcast. Not quite sure I believe this map, but I am hopeful.

I photographed this area of Mars. She(it) was more contrast. I think the dust storm begins.
