Thought I would link to this simply breathtaking series of images (mostly NASA) of the solar system put together in a two part series that I ran across on the web today, the shot of Jupiter as seen from the South Pole is simply incredible. Heck, the whole thing is, just check it out and I don't think you'll be disappointed. The link is to the second part of the diary you can link there immediately to part one, which begins with Mercury. There are a ton of photos so it may take awhile to download the page if you have a slower connection.

Here is another of Saturn's moon Dione with the rings casting a shadow on Saturn in the background. I found this diary to be an excellent reference source of all the moons in the solar system...
