Was able to get out on Wednesday night for the first time in about 3+ weeks. Only had a few hours before clouds were scheduled to roll in so I took some shots of Jupiter and the moon.
The first image is taken with my C6-N + 2x and 3x barlows stacked and spc900nc. It is a mosaic of 12 panels, and shows Sinus Iridum, Plato and neighbors. Taken on 10/29/09 at ~0415UT.

Second image also taken with the C6-N + 3x barlow. It is a mosaic of 28 images and shows the whole of Mare Imbrium, Copernicus and friends. Taken on 10/29/09 at ~0425UT

Nice colours in the images - subtle but lovely.
Great work!

Thanks!
A lot of times I consider just converting things to B/W during processing, but after a bit of color correction I notice some subtle colors that just get lost during desaturating.
I'm a little disappointed in the mosaics, but the cause of my disappointment has to do with the huge dynamic range involved when imaging the terminator region. I chose to image around Sinus Iridum because it was standing out so bright in my viewfinder. But capturing to get the entire dynamic range included in the final image, I just don't get the pop I was seeing visually.
Now only if they could make an affordable camera that matches the dynamic range of the eye .
