With the breaking down of the NPH over the last week, a very good view can be had of the NPC. Starting to look rather brilliant in my opinion.

Once again, extremely nice image Joel!!!!! What processing are you doing with Maxim DL? You don't have a listing of your processing steps, do you???? Again, beautiful image!!!

Thanks James. I use Maxim DL strictly for deconvolution. I use K3ccd to process the avi, sorting and stacking the frames. The result it gives me, I save as a 16 BIT FIT file. That gives a R, G and B. I use Registax 5 to stack those 3 files, giving me the color result. From there I apply wavelets, adjust contrast, etc. I then use Paint Shop Pro 8 to sharpen some more, filter out noise, tweak color etc. Then, towards the end of the processing, I will use Maxim DL deconvolution with some final touch-up back in Paint Shop Pro after that. That particular example above is about 1000 frames out of 7000, shot at 30fps. Thanks again, and if anyone is real interested, I can do a through description of how I process on my webpage. I do it a bit differently that most.

Joel

Joel, if you have the time I'd love to see detailed description on you webpage of your processing, since I use basically the same tools.....
