Hi all, I was wondering if there is a Meade electric focuser for the ETX-LS? I notice that there is a port for a focuser on the telescope. Would any of the existing models work? I am looking for to help in focusing for astrophotography. Thank you.

Ok, just realised gbb is "Meade customer support". Can I ask then - does the Meade #1209 Zero Image-Shift Microfocuser work by plugging into the focuser plug of the ETX LS such that control is by the Autostar III controller entirely? Thanks.

It looks like the #1209 is designed for the LX200 only, it's not clear from the infomration on Meade's web site that it would work on any other scope. I'd keep an eye on offering from JMI. In the mean time Bahtinov mask might be in order.
