Question re Updating Firmwre CG-5 advanced GOTO

Hi I have an Advanced GT mount and in the process of upgrading the hand controller Which do I choose from the menu

I downloaded these instructions from the NexStar Resource Site and found them very helpful when I updated my CG5's HC and MC firmware.

I downloaded GEM 4.16 but I still don't see PEC or the Polar Scope routine??

Hi Greg,

The "polar alignment" is an option when you press the "Align" button at the top left of the hand controller. Of course, you need to do a 2+x alignment first.

Go to the Celestron website and download the CGEM manual. It's described there.
