I just thought I'd post this here too in case this is where the post belongs, and hopefully it's ok to double post?!
I have an old TOWA Catadioptric telescope that needs realignment! I can't seem to get it dialed in and can't find adequate information on it. It's not quite a Schimdt-Newtonian, because the primary mirror is stationary with no adjustments available. However the secondary is proving very difficult to get correctly offset and back to optimal precision. Does the corrector plate have to be aligned properly? How would I know when it was properly aligned? Anyone have any info on this type of scope? The model number says No 3-15763, and it's a small 76x600 f/7.9 scope. Can't find any info on it! Any and all help would be extremely appreciated!
Thanks - Rob
