I honestly have a briefcase looking wooden box that I store my Laptop in during the winter...I just bored a hole in the back and stuck in a 7W Christmas tree light bulb in the hole ..produces enough heat to keep the inside of the box above freezing even down to single digit temps...

Did this because while the laptops screen never froze the computer started up like it was stuck in mud...SLOW can't describe it...
