Ever try to precisely align your CGE with the supplied Allen Wrenches?? Good Luck---I bought an allenwrench socket adapter with 1/4 inch drive and then used an 18 inch piece of 4130 chromolly steel tubing to use as a cheater bar. It gives you precision that you just can't get using the wrenches alone.

with this tool, you only have to loosen the ax knobs slightly and then there is no movement when they are tightened up again.

It would help if you provided link(s) to your parts source.

Well, I just got them from my shop. The socket adapter was purchased from Ace hardware. The tubing was purchased from Aircraft spruce in southern california when I was building my biplane. Any steel tubing will work as long as it fits over the handle of the 1/4 inch socket handle. If ace hardware doesn't have the tubing, any welding shop should have it. You could get sophisticated and drill thru the tubing and the handle and use a bolt or pin to hold them together, but I found that it wasn't really necessary.
