Telescope Reviews: Need help buying a used Meade ETX series scope

Hello,
I am looking to buy a good used Meade ETX series scope. Mainly as a go-to scope to help me get familiar with the skis.
All that I really know is that I was told to get the 90 or larger scope. I would like to be able to view the planets and DSOs. Are there any eps that are not recommended to use and what are some that work well this this type of scope. Also, is there anything that needs pointed out to look for when buying a used scope of this type. Thanks for any information to help me with this scope.
