I though I would post this pic of the Bubble, from July. It's a total of 8 subs, 5 min each, at ISO 800.

Canon Digital Rebel 400
Kodak Easyshare 2.0 Megapixels

Pretty good Bubble shot , hard to get it to connect without a lot of subs.
Nice work Halebopper

Thank you Erik. It's a tough target, and it was a seconary target for me that night. I was having mirror flop problems all night long and the bubble was a target that worked out. I love my SCT, but imaging is getting iffy with it.

I bought a cheap off axis guider im going to try out with mine because im sick of the flexure /drift between the SCT and ED80 , if it works out I might lose the side by side and buy a nicer OAG.
Have you seen the new AO unit from Orion , I have seen JPM from over in CCD do great things with his SCT on a fork mount because he uses AO.

Mine is a piggyback system. My problems have been due to mirror flop. I have decided to just get a newt. I'm probably going to get the AT 8" imaging newt and go from there. The C8 wil be for lunar/planets AP, and visual.
