Can I get help labeling my Moon photo?
      #3427301 - 11/03/09 12:03 PM Attachment (5 downloads)

So I think I have the two main craters in this shot labeled right (if not PLEASE let me know), but can I get some help labeling some of the other features - I am not that great at identifying lunar features yet (which is why even my two current labels might be incorrect) - Thanks!

Here is a link to the Virtual Moon Atlas. It's very complete, easy to use and best of all....FREE! That should get you what you want.

Second the VMA! You can use it to plan sessions instead of getting cross-eyed from trying to match lighting and direction...

Hi,

Copernicus and Kepler are correct you also have Aristarchus the very bright crater to the left of Kepler, as others have said VMA is an excellent lunar atlas.

Thanks,

Wes Higgins
