here is low power and i do not remember but i think it was with 40mm ep.

Hi Alpal,

Here's a moon shot with my Unitron (older than me, maybe from the end of the fifties). I've use a 32 mm celestron plossl, afocal, automatic exposure with a canon a570.

Thanks for those pics.
The one of Jupiter is great especially considering that you
weren't using a high speed camera & stacking the photos.
I bet with frame stacking you'd get a lot better?
That seems to be as good - if not better than my 8"
custom built Newtonian although after 8 attempts I have
yet to obtain ideal seeing conditions.
There is a nice contrast between the black background & the planet.
Refractors may be worth the extra money.
It would be nice to have a refractor as well as a Newt.
I bet the Unitron would give a better view than many larger
SCTs & Newts?

3 pairs of binoculars - small to large.
Many filters including anti-light pollution types.
