H2A-2024 rocket upper stage color image
      #3428760 - 11/04/09 07:43 AM Attachment (10 downloads)

subject: 2009/10/17_ IGS-1 H2A Rocket body_color_observation
________________________________________________________

I sent a set of monochrome images from this observing session earlier. But here is
an interesting color image of the subject. We see the upper stage of a Japanese
H2A 2024 Rocket which carried the IGS-1 satellites into orbit.
Color is enhanged but real. If you see a launch image of this rocket type,
you will see the color is indeed comparable:

imagery: 10inch Newtonian, manually tracked using 6x magnification on
the tracking scope)
