I am considering these binoculars:
Helios Quantum-3 (IF) Observation 20x80 Binoculars
Does anyone know how they perform?

Hi mOOnless. The Helios would appear to be the Kumming United BA4 series [below]. This is an older design bino. They 'appear' to be the same as the Celestron Skymaster 25x100's [below]- however the Celestrons are 'only' M.C. coated and the Helios version are reported as F.M.C. There are numerous 'average' reports on the Celestron versions on C.N.s. The F.M.C. lens of the Helios should help in improving image quality over the Celestrons.

Can anyone confirm that the Helios Quantum-3 series is the same as the Kumming United BA4 series? Has anyone tried either of these? The Celestron Skymaster in addition to being only multi-coated is also not listed as being waterproof and nitrogen filled.
