Hi all. I want to try my hand at astro imaging and was thinking of starting out with this camera http://www.telescope.com/control/product/~category_id=astro-imaging_camera/~pcategory=astro-imaging/~product_id=52080 I will be using it with my Orion 100mm f/6 achro Refractor and my cg5 mount. what do you guys think? what should I expect?

I used the mono and loved it. I don't think you can do better at this price point. It's easy to use.

That's a great price on a nice camera. Keep an eye on the delivery dste though, it has been slipping for quite a while.

I have the StarShoot II and used it for the first time a week ago and I love it
this was 15-120 sec images

I forgot to add I used a Celestron C6-NGT
and Orion short 80mm and Meade DSI for guiding

Here is a recent image of M33 taken with the color version
Great little imager and it's cooled The price is also wright

Do you remember the exposure times on your images and the number of subs? They are beautiful!
