Many people are wondering what mount to get, Atlas vs CGEM etc. I think Celestron just made it easier. Till Dec. 31, there is an instant 300.00 rebate. I have an Atlas, but if I was in the market for a new mount, at this reduced price, I would buy the CGEM.

I think you have to buy a telescope, too, in order to get the rebate.

Your are correct. Sill a good deal if one is in the market for a bigger SCT and mount.

The way Celestron prices things, I think if you buy a scope and mount package and then sell one or the other, you'll come out ahead.
