Hi all,
Thought I'd try this forum instead of computer software or CCD. I am interesting in purchasing a set of Photoshop actions that will not do everything for me, but at the same time help me along the learning curve. I currently do DDP in Images Plus and Gradient Exterminator in Photoshop (windows). For those who have experience with more than one package, is there a preference?
clear skies,
Paul

Here's the best $19.95 you can spend. Good seeing you at the conference!

Peters actions are pretty cool also but I agree Noels actions and GradientX are very helpful.
The rest of it is just reading tutorials and experienting and climbing the learning curve.

Noels, GXTerminator and either Noise Ninja or Neat Image (having had both I feel that Neat Image offers greater control-look in my gallery at the Helix which is the first image processed with it. Background is cleaner than prior images and my stars are better than before) learning proper masking techniques kept the nebula sharp.

Seeing as how you already have IP and GradX, all you need is Noels and Noise Ninja. Done.

I like the Helix very much; I checked out the Trifid, and there seems to be more noise. I'm getting Noel's now; still undecided about NImage and NNinja. Looking forward to researching them.
clear skies everyone and nice meeting you at the AIC.
