I am wondering if Fujinon 150mm binos ED version are the best in term of optical quality among giant binoculars. Do they outperform the new 150mm binoculars which are made in China in every way? I am not a big fan for switching EPs in binoculars. Thank you in advance.

Don't know if the best - but according to what I have seen through a pair of them (Standard, NON-ED 25x150) under NELM 6.5 skies on 5000 feet, they are essentially perfect. Stars were pinpoint, far better than in every-day-binoculars of more modest size, and I did not feel the slightest need for ED-objective-lenses for deep-sky.
What they showed in the summer milky way (M8/20, M16/17, M22, M11 and on other objects such as the Veil-Nebula with dedicated nebular-filters) has been nothing less than sensational - the most impressive deep-sky sights I've ever had in half a century! The pseudo-stereo-wow-effect was literally overwhelming. I will never forget it.
However, since it was the straight-through-version, the subsequent admission which I had to pay for this extraordinary treat was a week-long back-ache. If I had the money, I would go for a heavy binocular-chair or for the 45 deg version... - "Tertium non datur", IMO...

I can tell you that in my opinion, and not taking in count the overall value vs price math that all of us do when buying, the Fujinons are certainly better, and I'm talking about the MT's, which are the cheaper ones.
The EDs may perform near apochromatic, or as others say, they are apos (not confirmed, maybe someone here knows if those eds are true apos or just near apos) (for me, the Mts perform near apos, very little color only on very bright subjects or in very contrasted ones in daylight)
So, yes, the Fujis are better, but is up to you to consider is they are +$6.000 or more $$$ better than the Chinese.
I've also read that the EM ed model (with 45º eps) shows some spikes on brighter stars, but I can`t confirm it first hand).
Also, I'm not just talking optically which is the main concern, but the Fujis are better built, maintain perfect collimation, and basically have all the extras of a perfect mechanism that you can only find in the most expensive equipment. (you wont find many complaints about this kind of optics or with Miyauchi, leica, swarovski, etc...., and you will with less costly brands...)

I have never looked thru a pair of Fujinon 25X150 binocular of ANY flavor. But Fujinon's reputation for building top quality MIL spec binoculars from the 7X50 FMT SX on up is well known.
A pair of 150mm Chinese binocular with interchangeable, angled EPs for under $4,000 is Very tempting at first glance. However, reports of QC and collimation issues with their little brother, the GT 100mm/45 deg, make me think thrice about investing in a pair in the near future.
The idea of a pair of Ultra Giant 150 mm binoculars at a dark sky site is something all binocular aficionados covet. But a pair out of collimation is nothing more than two six inch F 5.5 achromats with 45 deg erecting prisms. I'd estimate they may be worth ~$500-600 per side.
If I always wanted a pair of Fuji 25X150s and a pair with ED glass is available at an attractive price I'd give them serious consideration. They are no longer made. D & G makes high quality 6 inch achromats. They are F12 or F15. IMO 150 mm achromats with much shorter ratio(~F 6 or less) will benefit from ED Objective. My Miyauchi 100 F 7.5 have slight purple fringing in day time viewing at 39 X.
