I was at my astronomy club meeting last night. I knew they were setting up a permanent scope at one of our observing sites, with the dome being delivered this weekend. What I didn't know is the new scope is a 10 inch TMB.
I am excited.
I will post some photos once it goes up.

I should say, too, and which was emphasized at our meeting last night, a huge thank you to whomever the generous benefactor is who donated this scope to our club.
This is the last of our club's four sites to get its own scope. Here's a couple shots of another one of the club's observing sites:

Yes, we've had a number of generous donors, may all blessings be upon them and their posterity forever.

Is my club's scope cool enough to play?
Seriously, though, some of these club setups are really amazing. Thanks for sharing.

The picture of the 10" TMB posted early is owned by a local Arizona man. Its an EXTREMELY impressive telescope! He actually has an 8" TEC refractor riding piggy back on it! I believe he has a 12" on order, he should be getting it soon.
Congrats on your new monster!

WHOA WHOA whoa there, 8" TEC refractors dont ride "piggyback", instead, 10" TMB can go on 8" TEC's in whats called an "underslung" design. hahahah
