Questions about using a Denk push/pull Diopter
      #3433547 - 11/06/09 07:01 PM

I am considering purchasing a pair of Denk Big Easy's, but they are the older style and have the push pull diopter adjustment, not the self-centering diopter adjustment that is in the current version. Does anyone here have experience using the older style vs the newer style? how difficult is the the push/pull style to adjust? I do have a difference between my eyes, so I will need to use it.

thanks

well, it obviously a bit more difficult to use that the twist diopter, but it's not too bad. you focus one eye using the telescope focus knob, then with the locking collet slightly loosened, just enough to move the eyepiece, you pull out the other eyepiece out till it matches.
