For 25 minutes, it was perfect. NGC281 - Pacman new
      #3434048 - 11/07/09 01:18 AM

Ever had one of those nights where NONE of your gear acts up? I know it's rare here, and I had one tonight... for a while. I was pointing around 65 degrees when the fog monster reared its ugly head. Game end. I shot a few darks, and salvaged 5 frames @ 5 minutes.

i hate the nights where the equipment doesnt cooperate. very frustrating
but for 25 minutes thats a great shot. You did a great job processing too. very natural looking. with a little more time i think you would be able to bring out the little structures in the nebula.

Thats too bad your perfect equipment night was interrupted by fog Gary , the subs you got look good though.

At least a start to the Pacman project.

Good start. That fog sure puts a damper on your dark skies Gary. Maybe we should trade abodes for a few months.

I had self-imposed issues last night, mis-naming an alignment star, and cranking my wedge WAY out of alignment. Took me an hour to figure out why the universe was not cooperating.

Thanks all! I had planned on continuing on this tonight but it looks like the wind may prevent any imaging. I've got gusts to 25, and I don't see any relief.

Nick, You're not the only one that's mis ID'd an alignment star...

Edit: What the hey... I'm setting up anyway!!
