Just a comment on stargazer22's afocal image:
That's a really interesting shot of the moon. It almost looks like an alien planet.
I've learned that you can take better advantage of the eyepiece field of view by using a tripod mount to hold the camera back from the eyepiece. The porthole effect is kinda interesting though.

The one comment I feel I must make is, quite obviously there needs to be a "Post Comment" link to this thread associated with the newbie photos. I see 4 comments in response to 10 pages of pictures. This is not working
