If it helps... my CPC11 s/n is 963827 (no 'S') and was purchased from an Australian supplier and delivered to my home March/April 2007.

The serial number on mine is 965918. I bought it new in May 2008 from a Canadian vendor.

My CPC1100 is only a few months old...
# 968850
Purchased and picked up from Hands On Optics (from their inventory) .... I can not remember any "S"

Hmm. The CPC11 I picked up from HOO on Monday was serial number 968596, older than yours. It had the finder base already attached, the plastic antiscratch labels removed, and as I mentioned above, has old MC firmware. Now I'm a bit nervous again. I wonder if it was a return?
