That sure is a stunning photo. I get the impression that the colors are 'real." But earlier photos showed a dark body. Did the MRO processing lab "doctor" this any for enhanced color?
Sort of like some of us did in the "Mineral Moon" threads a couple of years ago.

Good question, based on studies of impact craters across the solar system as well as laboratory experiments, Stickney crater was created by a body in the range of a tenth to a quarter of a mile in diameter (0.25 km to 0.45 km). The calculation for impactor diameter is 0.05% (20 to 1) of the crater diameter. This is based on the assumption of an average impact velocity of 20 km/second.
