Working on re-mounting the 8" Meade SN, the Orion ED80, and the Meade ETX70 from the LXD55 to an EQ6. Wondering about a couple things.

The previous set up was with the ED80 directly on top of the 8", with the ETX off set to counter balance the JMI moto-focus. Worked pretty well, yet considering perhaps doing a "side by side" type arrangement with the SN on one side, and the ED80/ETX on the other.

What type of possible ramifications could be experienced mounting like this? Or should I just mount it up like previous?

Generally, i'll guide with the SN, and image (or try to), with the ED80. Sometimes I may reverse this depending on the field I want to frame. The ETX is basically the finder, mounted on an adjustable camera mount to be able to center the target without having to adjust ring screws.
