The Clear Sky Charts show all clear skies in all of New England this evening, with good seeing conditions. The Moon does not rise until after 10p.m., and the Sun sets at 4:30p.m. It is a rare opportunity to get the telescope out with no clouds in the way...

So how were actual conditions? the CSC seeing and actual seeing rarely seem to agree from my experience.

It was clear, no clouds. But the air was not steady at all. The seeing was bad. But it did not stop me from viewing DSOs.
