I thought it best to reply while staring enviously at the group photo. I did not catch the rescheduling of BEOTS until 2 weeks ago- and was unable to resched for the 7/1 weekend.... the last straw there was a wild set of thrown steel belts in one of my Firestone tires while on the way to a jobsite (ever heard of that before?????) and the $$$ it took to buy a new set of tires (NOT Firestones). FWIW, Richard had a family reunion that he was not allowed to miss. so... here's my lame sob story... I spent the weekend at my best friend's house at the pool party with the huge fireworks display moping about not being able to attend either BEOTS or Electric Forest festival @ Rothbury (where String Cheeze Incident was headlining ALL 3 nights!!! Keller Williams, Galactic, That One Guy, Karl Denson, Infamous Stringdusters.... and many more = Fine Lineup).... and then I didnt take my scope to the pool party and Sat night was CLEAR!!! His house is very rural with dark skies.... It was a good wkend fo adult beverages to assuage my nerves.... Great to see all the pics from Ohio - many familiar - some not.... Missed all of you and kept you in my mind all wkend. Best to all! Had to take a few hours out of my night last night to go to the ER with an eye problem. Here's Marge's turn for a look at the Sun with the Maxscope. She made the best chocolate cookies...EVER! I wish I could have taken her home with me, such a sweet lady with a great sense of humor. Steve was so much fun, too, and I'm going to be chuckling for a long time to come over his story of broken light bulb and then hearing her take of it the next morning.
