The image I submitted was taken about 30 minutes before the sky began to pour. I lucked out.

It was selected as the spaceweather.com cover for Feb. 17th, 2005.

Thanks, Tom! The second image "A 300,000 mile Filament" was used on Spaceweather.com on Feb 20th.
