Here I'll provide each week the newest images. We should receive the dome by Novber 15. and we will put a video online where you can see how it is working.

So just visit our webpage. The first images are online now.

Is it just me, or does this design remind anyone of...

BTW- are these coming to the US?

Hi Mike and let me add my welcome to Cloudy Nights and the Observatories Forum. I do like the look of that dome, it seems to made of some sort of flexible material as when you click on it, it bounces

Hello

yes the dome is looking a little inconvenient. I think this is also a result of customizing the dome to fit our spezifications. It's essential that the dome survive the weather conditions at mount Gerlitze at 1600m (4800ft) with storms, heavy rain and heavy snow up to 2 meter height.

@Chris

as long as the dome will not bounce of the observatory, the will be allowed to do anything

Regards,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I think it looks very good and EU availability and the pricing adds a question as to whether it is worth my while continuing to patch up my old dome.

I would be quite tempted to get one myself. Please post back with lots of pictures when yours arrives.

Thanks,

Keith
