Thanks for sending it Al. It fits fine and it sits flush with the top of the 2" diagonal. I put a short piece of electrical tape on the side opposite the friction screws on the diagonal to keep it square in the bore.
The friction screw to hold the EP's secure is not a problem. I drilled a hole in the side of the diagonal opposite the set screw. Tomorrow I'm going to the hardware store and buy a longer cap-head screw of the correct diameter and pitch. This will extend the screw outside of the diagonal and allow me to tighten the EP in the adapter. If you know that screw size off the top of your head, it would be a time saver at the hardware store. I don't have a screw gage.
No chance of the EP hitting the mirror either. The barrels aren't long enough to reach in that far even though they are sitting "into" the diagonal because the adapter steps down.
Total height saved is 1-1/4" over the stock 2" diagonal set-up. This should give me plenty of "in" focus for the short 4mm EP.
I probably won't get to try this out for awhile, but I'm sure it will work out very well. Let me know what you want for it. Thanks Al.

Hi Micheal, I think that thread is a 10-32. It may even be an 8-32 .... I forgot. take it to the store and try out the different sizes, before you buy.

It's an 8/32. I got an 1-1/2" stainless screw and it works just great the way I have it set up. Thanks again!

It worked perfectly last night. I still had about an inch of "in" travel using the 4mm before bottoming the focuser tube.
