Hi, guys been out of the hobby for awhile. Wanting to start looking around the "Heavens" again; all I have now is a pair of Pentax 10x50s; I want to get something larger to use. I am looking at the Oberwerk 25x100 @$399 verses Borg 22x100 @ $450. Which one has the best bang for the buck; as far as quality construction and visual performance? Thanks for any help.

Bill,
Interesting question, however, are you restricted to these two only?
Also, what do you think of IS binoculars and have you ever tried them?
What about bins with interchangeable EP's?
When you look at the night sky, which do you prefer, standing, sitting, reclineing or all three?

BB, I have owned/used Oberwerk 15x70s on a Bogen 475/501; before and wanted something a little larger. Most of my observing is in the standing position. I have used a multitude of scopes in the past ( 9.25 Celestron SCT, 6" achros, Vixens, Burgess 127 Achro.). And wanted something light and quick to take outside and use. I have also considered Oberwerk 20x80 Deluxe; but I don't know if they will show much more than the 15x70s?
Edz, thanks for the report threads.
