Nice read, Tom. I have one of the diagonals and can appreciate the workmanship that went into its manufacture. Definitely one of those accessories that I want to keep around.

Would be justified to buy a Vernonscope diagonal instead Astro-Physics Maxbright 2" Diagonal? Difference of the price should be around 200$(both 2”)

Nice review. I used TV diagonals for years, but switched to the A-P Maxbright last year.
The optics are virtually the same (excellent!), but the reason I switched is the angled "safety" cut on the A-P is a better fit in all of my focusers compared to the Televue's groove. The A-P fits tight, with no tendency to rock or pop loose.
Cheers,
Ron

Nice review thanks. One quibble - the body is not machined from one piece like the Televue Everbrite. The nosepiece can unscrew and as far as I know, so can the eyepiece holder.
