I will admit, the nice thing about the majority of BOINC projects is that you can let them run and totally forget about them...
Apparently I have 94,442 credits...
Anyone else still crunching out there?

I just jumped back in after a long absence. I'll crunch SETI and Einstein for Cloudy Nights and CPDN for BOINC Synergy.
Cheers, Steve

Joined the Einstein@home CN team. Since I'm playing with a Linux box, I thought I'd try getting BOINC to run on it. Seems to be working. The CN team is WAY down the list, I see. Even behind "Guam Teachers" GUAM TEACHERS!!! How many teachers can they have on Guam???? Hubert

We are around 200 in Seti@home, and that is just below NASA and Sky and Telescope I think most folks do seti@home I guess that sould be the name of this sticky.

Is anyone having a problem running BOINC under Vista? It does not seem to be stable in my setup...
Oh, also, does anyone have a clue how to get it startup WITHOUT being "blocked program" and having to manually start it running?
Thanks,
Hubert

Well, after hitting a milestone within SETI@home, I switched to Einstein at home (member of the CN Team on both counts).
Actually I couldn't quite give up SETI, so I set my PC to do 80% Einstein / 20% SETI.

ATTENTION!!!
To the SETI@home people:
You need to visit this website or contact your Congressman. If House Resolution H.R. 3737 doesn't pass, the Arecibo Telescope and SETI@home Project will be shut down.

Oh no, that's horrible. Printing out my letter now, even though I haven't been crunching as much for SETI recently I still believe it to be a worthwhile project.
