Another oldie. Not much goin' on here - just a 'mental snapshot' of an opening scene from 'Dune'. I've always found it fascinating how the filmmaker can show a shot like this, and without a word being said, jump to a group of people etc., and in our minds we are 'there'. Power of suggestion.....
That was some good sci-fi. Takes some time to get a handle on all the strangeness (as is often the case when visiting 'new worlds' *heheh*), but once you get acclimated.... ~8)
I put it right up there with Blade Runner. Almost a shame the way the SciFi Channel has overplayed it. ~S*H
