You can try the Vixen representant in the states? It's closer to you right? I think he's name is Mike Folwer??

You should probably also contact Tele Vue. They were the Vixen importer for several years and have various new-old-stock parts and pieces at clearance prices. You might get lucky.

The bend is quite subtle; I may be able to post a pic later. It causes the plastic gear to bind with that connecting it to my drive's motor. The gears don't meet flush. So the drive doesn't work, and manual advancement produces a "hiccup", where a couple turns of the knob produce no movement, followed by a big jump.

Try a local machine shop. They might be able to bend it back or drill the shaft out and press, or tap/set-screw combo onto a new shaft in. Most worms shafts are just the gear with a few set screws.

The Vixen US importer is Vixen Optics. You might give them a call.

I had some difficulty in getting various suppliers to respond to my inquires, but someone on Astromart was selling a new replacement part. I think I paid $35.

Some info on my telescope can be found here: http://www.vixenamerica.com/pdf/scopes/VixenNorthAmerica_R150SR130S_GPTRIM.pdf
