Welcome to the Astronomy Forum! new
      #35484 - 01/03/04 01:43 PM

Hi all

Up to today, Cloudy Nights forums discussed Observing and Equipment. There was no place to discuss astronomy as a science, or to talk about current events in Astronomy and Space exploration, or mention the history of Astronomy, Astronomers and Observatories.

So this is the place!

Of course, usual Cloudy Nights rules of correct and polite behavior apply.

Great idea! Now we don't have to spread those threads all over the place...

Super idea and what a great time to start it--this will help us all in the spirit of the new Mars' landing (sorry about that). Thanks Matt and I look forward to doing lots of reading here.

Good one.

And yes, I was crossing my fingers we could get it started in time for Stardust's and Spirit's highlights
