5th February 2010.

It had been cloudy all day and then cleared up around 8PM :)

All drawings made with a Takahashi FS128 refractor at x238

A - 21:15UT, CM=297', seeing = II.

B - 22:20UT, CM=313', seeing = III.

My drawings are much more orange, the scanner has not reproduced them well !!

Nice sequence demonstrating the rotation of Mars with its most famous feature, Syrtis Major.

always nice to get a glimpse of this side, nice sketches! the polar cap has shrunk quite a bit in a few weeks time.

An excellent observation of Mars. You have recorded several albedo features over the Syrtis Major region. I have labeled the major albedo features noted over your first observation (21:15 U.T.). Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Again nicely done. You got the same details on Mars than my sketh of the 4th. But you did the job with a much smaler scope and put Sinus Sabaeus better on paper (I draw it to thin)!
