these are great sketches of the sun. I like the second one best, never saw these kind of sketches before , only as a photograph.I wish I could see the sun here to observe this wonderful sun spot group.

Well made H alpha observations. That big AR is still popping and crackling according to Spaceweather. Unfortunately, my terrestrial weather is interfering.

How did you make these sketches? Is the first one on gray paper?

Thank you for the comments everyone!

Both of these sketches are on white paper, it just looks gray from my camera settings. The first sketch is graphite, ink, and white charcoal. The second sketch is graphite that I inverted and added color to.
