A great addition to the forums, I remember when I was given my first telescope I was also given a pad and two soft lead pencils. About 26 years ago . Now I have a full set of Technical pens, Pencils and rubbing pads. I have only experimented with photography through the scopes from time to time but have always kept up with my pen work.

That is very true he certainly would have and I think the legacy of those who introduce us to the wonders of the night is however many we do the same for wether they draw image or just wander at the eyepiece. CN has certainly become one of my nessesary stops during the day..
