[Practice #2] Moon age 3.8
      #3647471 - 02/25/10 06:37 PM

One of my plan is sketching whole moon!
But it's structure is too complex to draw.
So.. I had a practice using photography.
I will sketch real moon with telescope one day or other!!

Kanguk

Very good for a practice sketch from photography! It reminds me of the hand drawn images in antique astronomy books from a few centuries ago.

Can you indicate the format size of this sketch?

You should do quite well from the direct eyepiece even if you think it is complex. Think of Zen and the Art of Lunar Sketching.

I look forward to seeing your next sketch work,

Kanguk,

An excellent rendition of the Moon from a photograph. This will help you in the future when making visual observations.

Carlos
