Mars - 1st March 2010 new

Mars - drawn on the 1st march 2010 at 18:30UT.

CM=44'

Takahashi FS-128 at x260.

Seeing = AII

The seeing deteriorated quite quickly after this so I was lucky.

NPC was tiny and dim.

Disk is rapidly diminishing in size now and details are very subtle compared to a month ago.

dweller,

It still looks wonderful in your sketch. I think we will stay with it until it is just too small and distant.

very nice sketch, you seem to have captured some of the ragged edge of mare erythraeum as well as solis lacus
