I bought the Rockler alum. plate but it is a bit expensive at close to $49. A phenolic one is just fine, IMO.
Don't foget a good circle cutting jig.

I got the Woodpecker plate...

Note that you can adjust it to be flush. You can make the same type of plate yourself, but for the money (about $30), it is a good plate.

Nice looking table! How think is your top and how is it constructed?

The top is a piece of counter top I found in the far reaches of the garage, left from the previous owner. Its 1.25" thick with some type of smooth laminate on one side.
The frame is just 2x4's I had laying around.

Thanks for the link Tom, I ordered the woodpecker plate. After looking at alot of them, this seemed the best deal.

That was my conclusion also. I plan to turn a wing of my table saw into a router table also. I have very limited space. Let me know what you think of it.
